Residents are invited to attend the next meeting of the Tamahere Community Committee on Tuesday 4 August, with a full agenda covering several important issues currently affecting the community.

Among the topics scheduled for discussion are updates on the proposed Whole-of-River council amalgamation, the Southern Links transport project, the WTR Equine Hub Fast Track application, recent speed zone changes, traffic concerns, and progress on the Matangi Recreation Reserve Master Plan. Councillors Crystal Beavis and Mike Keir will also provide their latest report on Waikato District Council activities, including the district's Long Term Plan and other major developments.

The meeting will also receive an update on TamahereForum.org, including a review of the website's performance during July, operating costs and future funding opportunities. The July analytics demonstrate strong community engagement, with more than 1,500 website sessions and significant readership across several key local issues, highlighting the growing role of the Forum as a trusted community information hub.

The meeting begins at 7.30pm at the Tamahere Community Centre, and as always, members of the public are welcome to attend. Anyone with an interest in the future of Tamahere is encouraged to come along, hear the latest updates and learn more about the projects shaping our community.
