The Tamahere Community Centre, 21 Devine Road, is a designated Community Emergency Hub and may be activated to support residents during significant emergencies. Community Emergency Hubs are places where neighbours can come together to share information, check on one another and coordinate local support if required. Official Civil Defence Centres may also be established elsewhere depending on the nature and scale of the emergency.
