Spread The Word By Hosting A Tamahere Forum Sign Media Slide

The Tamahere Community Committee is looking for local residents and businesses willing to display one of our new Tamahere Forum signs on a fence, wall, shop frontage, gate, or other suitable private property location. The signs promote the Tamahere Forum website, tamahereforum.org, which continues to grow as an important place for local people to stay informed, share ideas, and contribute to discussions about issues affecting our community.

The Committee is working hard to encourage more residents to visit the Forum, keep up with local developments, and add their own thoughts, suggestions, and perspectives. Whether it's a major infrastructure project, community initiative, transport issue, or local event, the Forum provides a place where everyone's voice can be heard. As the saying goes, we all deserve the opportunity to contribute our "two bob's worth" on matters that affect where we live.

The new signs, pictured here with TCC Co-Secretary Lyn Harris, are now available for placement around Tamahere. If you have a suitable location on private property and would be happy to support this community initiative, please contact the Tamahere Community Committee. A small sign in the right location can help more residents discover the Forum and strengthen the community voice during a period of significant change across the district.

How You Can Help

  • Display a sign on a fence, wall, shop frontage, gate, or other suitable private property location

  • Help promote tamahereforum.org to neighbours and visitors passing your property

  • Contact the Tamahere Community Committee to arrange sign collection or delivery

The Tamahere Forum is more than just a noticeboard. It is a platform where residents can engage with the issues shaping our community's future, from local government reform and infrastructure projects to conservation initiatives and community events. Every new resident who discovers and joins the Forum strengthens our collective voice.

If you can help or would like more information, please visit our Connect page and get in touch with the Tamahere Community Committee.
