WDC-Councillors Update April, 2024

'Lest We Forget' - The old oak tree beside Eureka Hall and the cenotaph hosted the nearest Anzac morning ceremony last week for Tamahere residents, with Council representatives Crystal Beavis and Mike Keir in attendance. The Community Committee is hopeful next year, Tamahere will host its own commemorative service in the village square.

Updates on the WDC's annual plan include a proposed rates increase of 13.75%, with timelines for hearings and final adoption scheduled for June 25th by the full WDC.
