Public Meeting: Election of New Tamahere Community Committee

A public meeting will be held at the Tamahere Community Centre on Tuesday 4 November 2025 at 7.30pm to elect members to the Tamahere Community Committee (TCC) for the next three-year term (2025–2028).

The meeting will be chaired by Waikato District Council CEO Craig Hobbs, who will oversee the election process. Up to 12 committee members may be elected (with a minimum of eight).
Nominations can be made on the night from the floor, or nominees can give written consent in advance if they’re unable to attend. Current committee members are eligible for re-election, as their present term ends at this meeting.

Once the election results are confirmed, the new committee will hold its first official meeting immediately after, following the agenda below.
